01 / Core experience
A cohort with a clear destination
Public discovery or an invited group. Start and end dates, learner places, a shared goal, and an optional personal commitment.
How this works
Cohorts can run with or without an attached course. Instructors teach by role without taking learner places.
02 / Delivery options
Courses that fit the way you teach
Organize modules, written lessons, and external resources. Native video supports private playback and captions where enabled.
How this works
Published course versions keep a cohort’s materials consistent. Optional lesson scheduling distinguishes required work from extra learning; lesson completion is self-reported.
03 / Delivery options
Live sessions, with a way to catch up
Use your meeting links or native classrooms. Native attendance, consented recordings, and private replays are built for supported cohorts.
How this works
Native delivery needs setup and launch verification. Attendance and recovery are separate; watching a replay alone never completes a requirement. The current replay-retention policy is 30 days after cohort end.
04 / Core experience
Questions beside the work
Ask about a lesson, checkpoint, session, or the cohort. Replies, instructor answers, notifications, and moderation keep the discussion connected.
How this works
Private instructor checkpoint help remains separate from cohort discussions. Teaching teams, where enabled, have scoped access; private help sharing needs learner consent.
05 / Core experience
Practice, feedback, another try
Keep a private draft, submit a checkpoint, receive instructor feedback, and revise. Share submitted work for peer feedback when the instructor enables it.
How this works
Peer sharing is explicit and can be withdrawn. Feedback stays tied to the version reviewed. Instructor approval is what makes a checkpoint count toward graduation.
06 / Core experience
Small groups. Visible next steps.
Pods, check-ins, progress views, reminders, and Finishline help learners stay connected. Effort estimates make outstanding work easier to plan; Rescue points to catch-up actions.
How this works
The complete outstanding-work view separates optional instructor estimates, native media duration, unknown effort, and instructor waiting. Estimates never change completion. Late eligible submissions, revisions, and session recovery remain possible after cohort end.
07 / Core experience
A recovery plan you choose
Choose unfinished work and available time, review suggested recovery blocks, and confirm a private plan with inbox reminders and calendar export.
How this works
Edit or cancel your blocks. Changed work is flagged for review, and scheduled time never counts as completed coursework. External-calendar availability is unknown; calendar exports do not sync automatically.
08 / Core experience
Help from peers, on your terms
Ask your pod or cohort for help with real unfinished work, or offer help. Agree a next action, follow up, and close the loop. Encourage pod peers and acknowledge their check-ins.
How this works
You choose who may reach out. Blocking and reporting are always available. Unanswered requests can go to your instructor. Peer help never grants review authority or changes completion.
09 / Core experience
Support on your terms
The Accountability Pact holds your support note and weekly recovery availability. Optional midpoint and completion reflections help you look back.
How this works
Pact details start private; share them separately with the owner or current pod. Reflections have their own owner-only sharing choice. Neither changes graduation or publishes your private work.
10 / Core experience
A finish backed by evidence
Complete meaningful eligible work, then choose whether to publish a proof of completion under your display name.
How this works
Sessions, approved checkpoints, eligible check-ins, and required lessons use one completion model. A proof is optional and is not an accredited qualification. Account controls include email/OAuth sign-in, optional two-factor authentication, and session management.
